Kragfergus Garden Centre

Trevor operated a retail garden centre between 1976 and 1999 in his home town of Carrickfergus. The centre was originally known as Kragfergus Garden Centre it latterly changed to Trevor Edwards Garden Centre. During the life of the Garden Centre he was assisted by his parents Jim & May Edwards. It is still a thrill for Trevor to meet and bump into many of his customers and ex staff.

Trevor expanded the business from the original 22a Scotch Quarter rented property and eventually purchased the rented properties and some adjacent properties. In the year 2000 the properties were sold to a Developer. Trevor is saddened and disappointed that to date a development has not been completed!

For a few years during that period Trevor also owned an operated a retail Record Shop called KragTrak. The shop was one of the first outlets outside Belfast to sell concert tickets, long before the days of TicketMaster!
